Last week in line with the New Moon in Virgo, we chatted about dreaming BIG, setting goals, and taking action.
This all sounds great in theory, but I think we all know that there inevitably comes a time when the ‘lather, rinse, repeat’ action of setting goals + taking action starts to feel a bit…. mundane.
Or worse, we get SO entrenched in taking action that we forget to take care of ourselves and eventually burn out.
So with that, here are our top tips to keep you in tip top shape - emotionally and energetically, of course - as you move fearlessly in pursuit of your dreams.
💐 Self Care
Albeit a bit of a buzzword, do make sure you have space for self care in your goal-setting routine. While Virgo is known for practicality and powerhouse energy, Virgo is also renowned for looking after our mind & body.
Self care could be anything ranging from a yoga class, making time to meditate or read, lighting a candle (may we suggest our Self Love & Intention Candle?), prioritizing space for home cooked meals, spending time in nature, or even keeping fresh flowers around the home.
🪞 Reflection
Just as important as it is to set goals, we need to create space to reflect upon what’s working… and equally, what’s not working.
Where do you need to make adjustments and prune the proverbial branches of what’s not working, so that you can make room for what is?
💫 Flexibility & Detachment
Although establishing a timeline is a crucial element to setting successful goals, the other side to this is being detached to the timeline in which they come back to us.
It sounds counterintuitive but the more attached we are to the timing, the more we push what we desire away. To strike the balance, what if the focus is instead on commitment to taking action, rather than when we see the fruits of our labor transpire?
💃🏽 Celebrate, celebrate, celebrate!!
It can be so easy to get caught up in the ‘doing,’ that we lose sight of what transpires along the way.
How can you celebrate everything that’s working, or all the unexpected magic that’s already come to fruition as a result of your efforts? Can you create a celebration ritual so that all wins - big and small - get air time?
Take care of yourselves, honeys. And of course, don’t stop dreaming xo
Sent with love,
the mindful collective xx
